Noah's Art Festival

Noah and his teacher, Mrs. Brenda

Noah taking a ride.
Ever since Noah starting going to Village Preschool they had been talking about their annual art festival, it's a big event there. So on April 24th we headed over to his school. They had a lot of things for the kids to do and a lot of their art to look at. I personally loved the "safari Noah" bag. At the event, there was face painting (Noah has never tried it, he is not interested in having anyone paint his face), pony rides, dogs, reptiles, a bake sale, cookies and lemonade. We got to check out all the art he had been doing at school and it was a ton and some really cute stuff. The day turned out really hot and as you can see we did not dress appropriately but over all it was a nice event and we were so glad to finally see what Noah had been making in school. He hadn't really brought anything home because they were saving everything for the festival.

Bath Time

We love the tub.
Play Time.

Cheese.
I love when my kids play together and I love bath pictures so here are a few favorites I took not long after we moved. Jaxson is almost 7 months old here and is sitting so well in the bath seat and Noah is 3 and a half. By the way, we love the bath seat, this one has lasted us 2 kids now and we think it's one of our top baby items (i think Noah sat in here until he was around 1 and a half). We have a great big tub in our master bath so they can take bath's together and still have enough room to play and get clean. I know we have a lot of bath toys but they are so fun and keep them entertained for a long time, I love bath toys.

Ice Skating Lessons

Important to practice falling, it's gonna happen.
The skater boys.

Dada was a good helper.
Noah started skating lessons this April, it's a parent and me class so Kevin could be on the ice with him (Uncle Eric couldn't stay off the ice so he hopped on to help). Noah did so well. The teacher was really nice and the class was at most four kids so they each got a good amount of attention. They suggested Noah go to the next level but Kevin thinks he needs to build up his confidence a little more before he goes it alone so he is going to do this class again. I think Kevin likes the bonding time with Noah and Noah loves to be with his Dada so it's fun to watch them.

Tee Ball for Noah and Jax is 6 months old

Noah's most loyal fan
Get ready to field the ball

Get low to get the ball
Shortly after we moved to California, I signed Noah up for Tee Ball. He was really excited to go. He got to hit off the tee, field the ball, practice running the bases and the last two classes they played a "game." It was a cute class but way to many kids. The kids had to wait in line a long time to hit or catch a ball, it was really a practice in patient. Believe it or not, Noah did great at waiting, he must have learned that from his dad.
Jaxson is 6 months old and at his doctor appointment he weighed 16 pounds and 4 ounces and was 27 inches long. He has started eating baby food, mostly cereal at this point but he is doing well. He got a few shots but was so brave and only cried for a minute. By the way, I was brave too. I do not do shots well, on myself or my kids. Kevin has gone to all of Noah's shot appointments because I was to nervous and might cry too. I was pretty proud of myself for taking him alone and felt as though maybe I needed to get a sticker or something. I was happy not to receive one, instead I got a healthy, happy baby (which is way better than a sticker).
