Noah's Christmas Program

Waiting to sing (he's sitting on the pew)
All the 4 year-olds

There he is front and center.
Noah had his first ever Christmas program and it was great. He sang 3 songs (I think) and said a Bible verse. I was almost in tears, not exactly sure why but I think it has something to do with him being 4 (which seems so old to me) and that he goes to school and has a life without me. Man do I love that boy! I have no idea how I will handle him going to Kindergarten.
Merry Christmas!

Halloween Costumes

I recently took Noah and Jaxson in for their 1 and 4 year-old pictures. The Picture People said they could have 1 outfit change so I brought their costumes. Noah was so excited to wear his Buzz costume. He didn't want to take it off so he wore it around the mall. Jaxson is Woody because we can still pick his and Noah of course wanted to be Buzz. The wings on Noah's costume light up, it's so fun and he LOVES it.
Trick-or-Treat!

Jaxson is 1!!!

I can't believe he is 1. The time flew by. Jaxson's birthday was on a Tuesday so we went to Don Jose's with a few family members to celebrate. Then on Saturday the 25th, we had a birthday bash for him at a park by my parents house. Jax had his first cupcake and as you can tell from the pictures, he loved it. He got a ton of great gifts, hit a pinata and ate (one of his favorite things to do).
At his 1 year old doctor visit Jaxson got 4 shots and a tb test. He weighs 19.8 pounds (5th percentile) and is in average range for his height. The doctor said don't worry about this weight just give him whatever he wants to eat. He thinks he is so active so he burns off what he eats.

Sea World for Noah's Birthday

We took Noah to Sea World for his birthday, we went the Friday after his birthday (8/13/10). We got there at 11am and didn't leave until 10pm. We went on the rides in Elmo's World, saw 2 Shamu show's, a dolphin show and a few other shows. He picked up a starfish, felt a stingray and looked in a few aquarium's. We had a great day, Noah was great all day even though it was way past his bedtime.

This is his new Buzz Lightyear costume he got for his birthday. When we got home from his party he had to put it on.
For Noah's 4th birthday we decided to take him to Sea World so on his actual birth-day we had a small VIP toy story party for him at my parents house. All the kids got special VIP necklaces to wear with the party info(love ETSY), they were so cute and the kids loved them. The kids played horse shoes(the kid friendly set), ran around the backyard, ate, hit the pinata and had cupcakes. Noah had so much fun!! We cannot believe he is 4 already. We have now figured out the old saying is true "time flies when your having fun." Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah's Art Festival

Noah and his teacher, Mrs. Brenda

Jaxson on his first pony

Noah taking a ride.
Ever since Noah starting going to Village Preschool they had been talking about their annual art festival, it's a big event there. So on April 24th we headed over to his school. They had a lot of things for the kids to do and a lot of their art to look at. I personally loved the "safari Noah" bag. At the event, there was face painting (Noah has never tried it, he is not interested in having anyone paint his face), pony rides, dogs, reptiles, a bake sale, cookies and lemonade. We got to check out all the art he had been doing at school and it was a ton and some really cute stuff. The day turned out really hot and as you can see we did not dress appropriately but over all it was a nice event and we were so glad to finally see what Noah had been making in school. He hadn't really brought anything home because they were saving everything for the festival.

Bath Time

We love the tub.
Play Time.

Cheese.
I love when my kids play together and I love bath pictures so here are a few favorites I took not long after we moved. Jaxson is almost 7 months old here and is sitting so well in the bath seat and Noah is 3 and a half. By the way, we love the bath seat, this one has lasted us 2 kids now and we think it's one of our top baby items (i think Noah sat in here until he was around 1 and a half). We have a great big tub in our master bath so they can take bath's together and still have enough room to play and get clean. I know we have a lot of bath toys but they are so fun and keep them entertained for a long time, I love bath toys.

Ice Skating Lessons

Important to practice falling, it's gonna happen.
The skater boys.

Dada was a good helper.
Noah started skating lessons this April, it's a parent and me class so Kevin could be on the ice with him (Uncle Eric couldn't stay off the ice so he hopped on to help). Noah did so well. The teacher was really nice and the class was at most four kids so they each got a good amount of attention. They suggested Noah go to the next level but Kevin thinks he needs to build up his confidence a little more before he goes it alone so he is going to do this class again. I think Kevin likes the bonding time with Noah and Noah loves to be with his Dada so it's fun to watch them.

Tee Ball for Noah and Jax is 6 months old

Noah's most loyal fan
Get ready to field the ball

Get low to get the ball
Shortly after we moved to California, I signed Noah up for Tee Ball. He was really excited to go. He got to hit off the tee, field the ball, practice running the bases and the last two classes they played a "game." It was a cute class but way to many kids. The kids had to wait in line a long time to hit or catch a ball, it was really a practice in patient. Believe it or not, Noah did great at waiting, he must have learned that from his dad.
Jaxson is 6 months old and at his doctor appointment he weighed 16 pounds and 4 ounces and was 27 inches long. He has started eating baby food, mostly cereal at this point but he is doing well. He got a few shots but was so brave and only cried for a minute. By the way, I was brave too. I do not do shots well, on myself or my kids. Kevin has gone to all of Noah's shot appointments because I was to nervous and might cry too. I was pretty proud of myself for taking him alone and felt as though maybe I needed to get a sticker or something. I was happy not to receive one, instead I got a healthy, happy baby (which is way better than a sticker).

Irvine Train Park for their Easter celebration-- still catching up!

The prize he won.
Adelyn, Jaxson and the bunny

The train ride

The boys and the bunny

My Bunny!
Before Easter, we met Adelyn and Nicole at the Irvine Train Park where they had a bunch of Easter activities set up. They had an Easter egg hunt where you could get candy or coupons for free things around the park, games where everyone is a winner, cookie decorating and of course the train ride. The best part was the coupon I got for the Easter bunny picture off of the internet and as long as you purchased a picture you could take as many pictures with your own camera as you would like. We had a good time and will probably go back next year.

Knotts "very" Farm

Adelyn, Hailey and Noah on the big train.
Hailey and Noah being brave on the balloon ride.

The Pilots!
Shortly, after we moved to California we made our first trip to Knotts Berry Farm or as Noah calls it "Knotts very farm." Hailey (my cousin Laura's daughter) came with us and Adelyn and Nicole met us their. Noah had a great time and was able to ride a bunch of different rides. Camp Snoopy is perfect for him, at this age. We also rode the BIG train that goes around the park, he loves trains so this was a great treat for him. After the robbers left, (they were very friendly and super sweet to the kids) Hailey and Noah could relax and enjoy the rest of their ride. One day I am going to figure out how to ride the stagecoach, even growing up close to Knotts and having gone their so many times, I can't ever remember riding it. I'm sure it's stinky and not that entertaining but I would like to try it anyway and I'm sure Noah would love it.

Our new park.

23 weeks old

Noah loves the park by our house, it has swings. He would swing all day if we would push him. As I mentioned in my last post, we really have no backyard so we are so happy we have such a nice, clean little park right across from our house (it's literally 40 steps away, give or take). Jaxson is pretty good in the stroller, he just hangs out and looks around. After the park, we take a nice little walk around our neighborhood. Noah rides his plasma car and loves to find new ways to get home.

Catching up! We Moved!

OK, so it has been a REALLY long time since I have blogged so I have decide to try and fill in some of our milestones. WE MOVED! The pictures above are of the first time we ever saw our new house (January 25, 2010). It was still somebody elses but this is when we did our home inspection. For those of you wondering how we got this adorable house, here's the story (short version). I found the house on the Internet (while in Arizona), it was going to have a one day auction and the best offer won. Well, it was super cute in pictures so I asked my parents if they would check it out for us. Of course they went, put in an offer for us (don't tell anyone, we were suppose to be present). The realtor told my dad you should hear from us in the next few days regardless if you got it or not, well we didn't hear anything. I called our agent and asked her to call them and they said I wonder why we didn't call you, you had a close to top bid. Anyhow, we made another offer and now it's ours. The house was officially ours on February 22, 2010, yes we moved in a months time! I think it's super cute, it's in a gated community with a golf course (to bad it's private so no golfing for Kevin unless he meets someone that is a member and that member invites him to golf), we are right across from the beautiful pool and park (which is a good thing since the house really has no backyard, it's a "patio home") and the neighborhood is quiet and kept up really nice. I am going to try to take some updated pictures with our stuff in it, someday. We are happy to be in California near our family but we really miss our Arizona friends and that Kevin could work from home, we miss him when he is at work all day and the commute is no fun for him or us. Noah did awesome with the move. He started a new preschool and had truly no issues with the change. I was so happy that he transitioned so well. Jaxson was 5 months old when we moved and I am a little sad that he will never remember the house we brought him home to from the hospital. I love that house and wish we could have just picked it up and moved it here, I hope our renters are enjoying it as much as we did. I hope some day we can all visit it again as a family.
